The Oakville Blades' Josh Kosack had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-2 win over the Burlington Cougars. Kosack's tallies came on the power play at 6:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Oakville and on the power play 17:34 into the third to make the score 7-2 Oakville.With the win, Oakville avoided elimination to make the series score 3-3 in the best of seven series. Burlington was doomed by its poor performance on special teams, as the Blades were able to score four times while on the power play. Oakville excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances. Oakville additionally got points from Ryan Garvey, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Christian Rajic, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Oakville also had goals scored by Brendan Doherty, Bryce Misley, and Jackson Bales, who scored one goal each. In addition, Oakville received assists from Tyler Rollo, who had three and Brandon Lukezic, Ryan Foss, and Ian Blacker, who contributed one each. The Cougars were helped by David Kiss, who grabbed one goal. Kiss scored 13:37 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Mike Faliero picked up the assist. Stefano Alonzi also scored for Burlington. More assists for Burlington came via Willy Paul, Griffin James, and Matt Holmes, who each chipped in one. Brendan McGlynn recorded 23 saves for the Blades. Oakville incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Andrew Lee took the loss and made 19 saves before being replaced by Austin Washkurak who made four saves. Burlington incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
