Kingston's Bosio deadly on offense in 7-4 win against Markham

The Kingston Voyageurs relied on the scoring touch of Danny Bosio, who netted two goals, to beat the Markham Royals, 7-4.

Bosio scored on the power play at 8:32 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Kingston and again while 11:28 into the second to make the score 3-2 Kingston.

The win by Kingston clinched the best of seven series at 4-0.

The Voyageurs' offense rang up 46 shots on Markham's net.

Kingston additionally got points from Anthony Rinaldi, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Connor Cobbold, who also tallied two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Kingston also got a goal from Brandon Nadeau as well. In addition, Kingston received assists from Zachary Emelifeonwu, Colin Tonge, Connor Bebb, Matthew Lourenco, and Jack Zielinski, who each chipped in one and Jacob Hanlon and Ian Harris, who contributed two each.

The Royals forced Kingston goalie David Richer to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Markham was helped by Trevor Abbot, who registered one goal. Abbot scored 3:35 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Aaron Spivak assisted on the tally. Markham also got points from Spivak, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Markham included Jeff Joynt and Tyson Bruce, who each put in one. More assists for Markham came via Jason OConnor, Matthew Dunlop, Lucas Condotta, and Hudson Michaelis, who each chipped in one.

The Voyageurs' Richer stopped 37 shots out of the 41 that he faced. Kingston incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Marcus Semiao made 39 saves for the Royals on 46 shots. Markham incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
