The Amherstburg Integrity Admirals pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Essex 73s on a clutch goal by Broden Meloche. With the win, Amherstburg avoided elimination to make the series score 3-3 in the best of seven series. The Integrity Admirals were led by James Brooks, who had one goal and one assist. Brooks scored on the power play 17:44 into overtime to make the score 4-2 Amherstburg. Amherstburg had taken the advantage when Essex's Adam Gaiarin got sent off for tripping. Blaine Bechard picked up the assist. The Integrity Admirals capitalized on the 73s' penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage. Amherstburg also had goals scored by Dean Patterson and Travis Campbell, who each put in one. More assists for Amherstburg came via Curtis Prymack, Austin Jennings, and Connor Meyerink, who each chipped in one. Essex's offense rang up 45 shots on Amherstburg's net. The 73s were helped by Max Viselli, who registered one goal. Viselli scored 4:28 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Matt Zelko assisted on the tally. Essex also got a goal from Griffin McCarty as well. In addition, Essex received assists from Eric Shaw, who had one. The Integrity Admirals' Meyerink stopped 43 shots out of the 45 that he faced. Amherstburg incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Matt Badour rejected 24 shots on goal for Essex. The 73s incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
