Lockport tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Jersey Shore held on for a 6-5 victory. Jersey Shore made the score 6-4 on a goal by Freddie Schaljo at 11:41 in the third period, and Lockport got as close as 6-5 when Jordan Pocobello scored 19:04 into the third period. The win by Jersey Shore clinched the best of three series at 2-0. With four goals and one assist between them, Dylan Plsek and John Rubin teamed up to power Jersey Shore's offense. Plsek registered two goals and one assist and Rubin also added two goals. Jersey Shore put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Lockport to score on any of its eight power plays. Jersey Shore forced Lockport goalie Sam Fitzpatrick to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots. Bogdan Khvatov also scored for Jersey Shore. Other players who recorded assists for Jersey Shore were Jared Karas, who had four, Ben Wingbermuehle, Zach Roth, and Marcus McCall, who contributed one each, and Scott Hansen and Christian Cooley, who each chipped in two. Lockport was led by Mark Friol, who grabbed two goals. Friol scored the first of his two goals at 1:11 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Jersey Shore. Ryan Logar provided the assist. Friol's next tally made the score 4-4 with 7:05 left in the second period. Gibson Stuart picked up the assist. Lockport also got points from Pocobello, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Lockport included Kurt Villani and Frank II Vecchio, who scored one goal each. In addition, Lockport received assists from Andrew Logar, who had two and Justin Andriaccio, Erick Santiago, Dylan Jenkins, and Christopher Gasiewicz, who contributed one each. Jersey Shore's Scott Albertoni stopped 19 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Jersey Shore totaled 34 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and two majors and went 1-for-5 on the power play. Sam Fitzpatrick made 40 saves for Lockport on 46 shots. Lockport incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. For Lockport, Andriaccio was ejected from the game.
