Nicholas Hodgins recorded a shutout against the Ottawa Senators as the Kemptville 73s picked up a 3-0 win.

With the win, Kemptville avoided elimination to make the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series.

The 73s got the win on the strength of a great game by Matt Tugnutt, who had one goal and two assists. Tugnutt scored 13:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville. Jason Tackett picked up the assist.

Kemptville stifled Ottawa's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Senators were unable to stop the 73s from sending pucks towards the net, and Kemptville eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Kemptville also got points from Kaelan OFlynn, who also had one goal and one assist. Alex Row also scored for Kemptville. More assists for Kemptville came via Adam Alavi and Cameron Russell, who contributed one each.

Nicholas Hodgins made 29 saves for the 73s on 29 shots. Kemptville incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors. Ian Andriano recorded 28 saves for Ottawa. The Senators incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors.
