Behind a great game by Semen Der-Arguchintsev, who had one goal and two assists, the CIHA White Midget AAA White defeated the OHA U17 Midget AAA OHA U16, 4-0.

Der-Arguchintsev beat Dillon Lamarche with a shot 6:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CIHA White Midget AAA. Seva Losev assisted on the tally. Der-Arguchintsev dished an assist on Pavel Gogolev's goal that made the score 2-0 CIHA White Midget AAA at 1:47 into the third period. He added another helper on Losev's goal that made the score 3-0 CIHA White Midget AAA at 18:16 into the third period.

The win gave CIHA White Midget AAA a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

The White put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow OHA U17 Midget AAA to score on any of its four power plays.

CIHA White Midget AAA additionally got points from Losev, who also had one goal and one assist, Gogolev, who also registered one goal and two assists, and Kenshin Hayashi, who also finished with one goal and one assist.

Olivier Pimpare-Charbonneau made 23 saves for CIHA White Midget AAA on 23 shots. The White incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Lamarche recorded 14 saves for the OHA U16. OHA U17 Midget AAA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
