Huge game by Hebert boosts Brockville Midget AAA over Hawkesbury Midget AAA, 5-2

Cameron Hebert had one goal and two assists to lead the Brockville Midget AAA Braves to a 5-2 victory over the Hawkesbury Midget AAA Hawks.

Hebert scored 8:58 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Brockville Midget AAA. Brett Lannin assisted on the tally. Hebert dished an assist on Rocco Barresi's goal that made the score 2-1 Brockville Midget AAA at 5:46 into the first period. He added another helper on Jacob Shankar's goal that made the score 5-2 Brockville Midget AAA at 19:19 into the third period.

The win gave Brockville Midget AAA a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

The Braves stifled Hawkesbury Midget AAA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Brockville Midget AAA forced the Hawks goalie Connor Morris to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Brockville Midget AAA also got points from Lannin, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Brockville Midget AAA also got a goal from Serron Noel as well. In addition, Brockville Midget AAA received assists from Ben Davy and Sutton Allard, who contributed one each.

Hawkesbury Midget AAA's offense rang up 36 shots on the Braves' net. The Hawks got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Hawkesbury Midget AAA was helped by Brett Romain, who tallied one goal. Romain scored 2:55 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Ryan Wells picked up the assist. Cedric Roth also scored for Hawkesbury Midget AAA.

Kyle Herbison rejected 34 shots on goal for Brockville Midget AAA. The Braves incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Hawks' Morris stopped 33 shots out of the 36 that he faced. Hawkesbury Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
