Georgetown blows out Orangeville, 4-0Alcott Wed, Mar 09, 2016 Story by Narrative Science.
The win by Georgetown clinched the best of seven series at four-one Orangeville's power play was ineffective against Raiders's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. Georgetown were led by Jack Jacome, who registered one goal. Jacome scored in the first period to make the score 1-0 Georgetown. The score was assisted by Jordan Crocker and Brendan Jacome. Raiders stifled Flyers's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.Georgetown kept Orangeville's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nicholas Latinovich made 29 saves on 33 shots.Raiders had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just two goals on ten chances. Georgetown additionally got points from Ryan Takamatsu, who also registered one goal and one assist. Georgetown also had goals scored by Zack Dybowski and Josh Dickinson, who each put in one. In addition, Georgetown received assists from Crocker, who had two and Jake Payette, Matthew Cairns, Daniel Hardie, Austin Cho, and Jacome, who each chipped in one. Andrew Masters made 23 saves for Georgetown on 23 shots. Raiders incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with ten minors. For Georgetown, Hardie was ejected from the game. Orangeville incurred 36 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
