The Kincardine Bulldogs' penalty kill was superb, as Kincardine survived multiple penalties to beat the Walkerton Hawks, 2-0. With the win, the Bulldogs avoided elimination to make the series score 3-3 in the best of seven series. Kincardine was led by Tyler Fregona, who finished with one goal. Fregona scored on the power play 18:14 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Kincardine. The Bulldogs had gotten the advantage when Walkerton's Justin McCrae was sent off for too many men. Shawn Moore picked up the assist. Kincardine stifled the Hawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Keegan Angel also scored for Kincardine. In addition, Kincardine received assists from Matthew Mah, who had one. Jacob Hutchings recorded 24 saves for the Bulldogs. Kincardine incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Walkerton's Nick Redman stopped 26 shots out of the 27 that he faced. The Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Walkerton ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Spencer Elder was ejected from the game.
