MacDougall's hat trick boosts LaSalle over Sarnia, 5-2

With the win, LaSalle avoided elimination to make the series score 3-4 in the best of seven series.

Vipers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Sarnia to score on any of their five power plays.

LaSalle also got points from Connor Rosaasen, who also registered one goal and one assist. Owen Lalonde also scored for LaSalle. More assists for LaSalle came via Eric Kirby, Nolan Gardiner, Brett Banwell, Manny Silverio, Ryan Sarris, and Nathan Veres, who contributed one apiece.

Legionnaires were led by Sam McCormack, who registered one goal.McCormack scored in the first period to make the score 1-1 . Brock Perry claimed the first assist on the goal, and Ryan Vendramin got the second.Others who scored for Sarnia included McCormack and Ryan Trottier, who scored one each. In addition, Sarnia received assists from Vendramin, Perry, and Hunter Tyczynski, who each chipped in one.

LaSalle incurred ten minutes in penalty time with five minors. Sarnia's Shayne Battler stopped 25 shots out of the 29 that he faced. Legionnaires incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
