Aurora boosted by Boyko's play in net, beats Wellington 5-1

With the win, Aurora evened the series at two-two in the best of seven showdown

Evan Kearns was all over the ice for Tigers, as he had two goals in the win.

Wellington's power play was ineffective against Aurora's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Tigers stifled Dukes's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Aurora additionally got points from Drake Board, who also registered one goal and one assist. Aurora also had goals scored by Spencer Herbst and Alex Formenton, who each put in one. In addition, Aurora received assists from Daniel Mantenuto, Keegan Matthew, and Liam Ham, who each chipped in two and Kyle Locke, Austin Gerhart, and Noah Delmas, who contributed one apiece.

Wellington were led by Matt Adams, who scored the team's only goal. Adams scored in the third period to make the score 3-1 Aurora. Greg Smith provided the assist.

Aurora incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Olivier Lafreniere recorded 22 saves for Dukes. Wellington incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. For Dukes, Nicolas Mucci was ejected from the game.
