Mark Manolescu was superb between the pipes for the St. Michaels Buzzers, as he did not allow a goal in a 6-0 victory over the Oakville Blades. With the win, St. Michaels evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. Oakville's power play was ineffective against the Buzzers' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. St. Michaels stifled the Blades' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Buzzers' offense rang up 37 shots on Oakville's net. St. Michaels was helped by Dalton Barnes, who grabbed one goal. Barnes scored 11:58 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Michaels. Brad Cocca picked up the assist. St. Michaels additionally got points from Thomas Beretta, who also registered one goal and one assist and Michael Andlauer, who also had one goal and one assist. Cameron Wright also scored for St. Michaels. In addition, St. Michaels received assists from Anthony Paveglio, Mitchell Devins-Cann, and Finn Evans, who contributed one each and David Martino and Mark Paolini, who each chipped in two. The Buzzers were unable to stop the Blades from sending pucks towards the net, and Oakville eventually piled up 37 shots on goal. Manolescu rejected 37 shots on goal for St. Michaels. The Buzzers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Brendan McGlynn recorded 31 saves for the Blades. Oakville incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
