Clarington rides Wainman to victory over Port Perry, 6-1

The win moved Clarington to down two-one in the best of seven series.

Eagles's penalty kill excelled, as Eagles gave up one goal despite allowing 15 power plays.

Clarington were led by Dylan Howorko, who had one goal and one assist. Howorko scored on the power play in the first period to make the score 1-0 Clarington. Liam Rowe claimed the first assist on the goal, and Mackenzie Morissette got the second.

team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.Clarington kept Port Perry's goalie busy throughout the game, and Brett Chandler made 21 saves on 37 shots.

Clarington additionally got points from Morissette, who also registered one goal and one assist and Rowe, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Clarington also had goals scored by Brent Hambly and Ben Pitchforth, who each put in one. In addition, Clarington received assists from Patrick McAuliffe and Brodie Myers, who each chipped in two and Cody Kean, William Lamoureux, and Dan Michel, who contributed one apiece.

Eagles incurred 46 minutes in penalty time with 13 minors. Mojacks incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with ten minors.
