The win moved Stoney Creek to down two-zero in the best of seven series. The teams traded the lead four times and neither team could skate away and hide. Generals put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Dundas to score on any of their three power plays.Stoney Creek kept Real McCoys's goalie busy throughout the game, and Mike Mole made 55 saves on 60 shots. Others who scored for Stoney Creek included Jordan Morrison and Jarrett Konkle, who scored one each. More assists for Stoney Creek came via Ryan O Marra, who had two and Matt Smith, Justin Donati, Brandon McMartin, and Matt Ruberto, who contributed one apiece. Dundas put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Generals to score on any of their three power plays.Real McCoys kept Stoney Creek's goalie busy throughout the game, and Daniel Svedin made 38 saves on 42 shots. Dundas were helped by Jake Guindon, who racked up one goal.Guindon scored in the third period to make the score 3-2 Dundas. The goal was assisted by Scott Stafford and Brent Vandenberg.Dundas also got points from Stafford, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Dundas also had goals scored by Cam Watson, Chris Hulit, and Guindon, who each put in one. In addition, Dundas received assists from Shawn Snider, Matthew Bragg, Jake Laplante, Jordan Foreman, Vandenberg, and Jeff MacMillan, who each chipped in one. Generals incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Real McCoys incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
