Andonovski nets hat trick, leads St. Andrews College to 4-0 win over Upper Canada College

The Upper Canada College Blues could not stop the St. Andrews College Saints' Corey Andonovski, who tallied a hat trick in a 4-0 win.

Andonovski's first goal came 15:52 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:50 into the second and at 17:18 into the second.

Upper Canada College's power play was ineffective against St. Andrews College's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

The Saints put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Blues to score on any of their six power plays. St. Andrews College's defensive play was more effective than usual against Upper Canada College. The Saints allow 2.9 goals per game. St. Andrews College's offense rang up 38 shots on the Blues' net.

St. Andrews College additionally got points from Jacob Miller, who also registered one goal and two assists. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from William Sirman, Connor Ali, and Regan Kimens, who contributed one each.

Upper Canada College excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Cole Chapman recorded 18 saves for the Saints. St. Andrews College incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Blues' Colby Muise stopped 34 shots out of the 38 that he faced. Upper Canada College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
