Urbank lifts Nichols School over Ridley College, 3-1Dann Memorial Mon, Feb 29, 2016 The Nichols School Vikings relied on the scoring touch of Erik Urbank, who netted two goals, to beat the Ridley College Tigers, 3-1. Urbank's tallies came at 2:11 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Nichols School and 19:51 into the third to make the score 3-1 Nichols School.Nichols School's Josh Graziano was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 29 saves and let only one puck past him. Graziano certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.5 entering the contest. Nichols School also got a goal from Anthony Scanzuso as well. Other players who recorded assists for Nichols School were Matt Gasuik, who had two and Jack Millar and Connor Zak, who each chipped in one. Ridley College was led by Brandon Skubel, who scored the team's only goal. Skubel scored 3:34 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Ridley College. Cole Cameron assisted on the tally. The Vikings incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Chris McGonigle recorded 27 saves for the Tigers. Ridley College incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. |
