St. Andrews College beats Upper Canada College 4-0 as Andonovski gets hat trickWilder Arena Complex Mon, Feb 29, 2016 A hat trick by Corey Andonovski was the highlight in Saints' 4-0 win against the Upper Canada College Blues. Andonovski's first goal came 15:52 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:50 into the second and at 17:18 into the second.The St. Andrews College Saints put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Upper Canada College to score on any of its five power plays. St. Andrews College kept the Blues' goalie busy throughout the game, and Colby Muise made 34 saves on 38 shots. St. Andrews College additionally got points from Jacob Miller, who also racked up one goal and two assists. More assists for St. Andrews College came via William Sirman, Connor Ali, and Regan Kimens, who each chipped in one. Upper Canada College stifled the Saints' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Cole Chapman made 18 saves for St. Andrews College on 18 shots. The Saints incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Blues incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Upper Canada College ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jeremy Marco was ejected from the game. |
