Ouellette leads Les Canadiennes over Toronto Furies, 7-1

Caroline Ouellette was all over the ice for Les Canadiennes, as she tallied two goals and four assists in Les Canadiennes' 7-1 win over Toronto Furies.

Ouellette found the back of the net 5:14 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Les Canadiennes and again while 2:43 into the second to make the score 3-0 Les Canadiennes.

The win by Les Canadiennes clinched the best of three series at 2-0.

Les Canadiennes forced Toronto Furies' goalies to work in net, taking 47 shots and forcing 40 saves. Christina Kessler made 20 stops and Sonja van der Bliek made 20. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with four goals.

Les Canadiennes additionally got points from Lauriane Rougeau, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Cathy Chartrand, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Julie Chu, who also registered two goals and one assist, and Marie-Philip Poulin, who also racked up one goal and two assists. In addition, Les Canadiennes received assists from Ann-Sophie Bettez, who had three.

Toronto Furies was led by Alyssa Baldin, who scored the team's only goal. Baldin scored 13:37 into the second period to make the score 5-1 Les Canadiennes. Natalie Spooner provided the assist.

Charline Labonte recorded 14 saves for Les Canadiennes. Les Canadiennes incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Toronto Furies incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
