Miami University falls to Grand Valley State University in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The Grand Valley State University Lakers' Tea Greca scored 1:04 into overtime to beat the Miami University RedHawks, 2-1 (OT).

Miami University was stymied by Grand Valley State University's netminder Lauren Allen, who stopped 47 shots during the victory. Allen certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.16 entering the contest.

The Lakers were paced by Greca, who had one goal.

Brelin Tasker also scored for Grand Valley State University. In addition, Grand Valley State University received assists from Alexa Tenwalde, who had one and Kendra Myers, who had two.

The RedHawks could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Miami University averages 4.2 goals per game. The RedHawks' offense rang up 48 shots on Grand Valley State University's net.
