Lindenwood Univ - Belleville holds on for 3-2 win against Minnesota University of

The Minnesota University of Golden Gophers tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Lindenwood Univ - Belleville Lynx held on for a 3-2 victory.

A goal by Nikole Day put Lindenwood Univ - Belleville up 3-1 in the second period, but Minnesota University of pulled to within one on Jessica Nkhata's tally 39 seconds into the third period.

The Lynx were paced by Day, who had one goal. Day scored 16:10 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Lindenwood Univ - Belleville. Reagan Fuller picked up the assist.

Lindenwood Univ - Belleville also got points from Fuller, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Hayley Winker also scored for Lindenwood Univ - Belleville. Other players who recorded assists for Lindenwood Univ - Belleville were Katie Lakusta, Ashley Dietmeier, Maddy Millar, and Megan Lugar, who contributed one each.
