Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) wins tough contest against Iowa Wild (MM), 5-3

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) gutted out a close 5-3 win against Iowa Wild (MM).

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Trey Bagwell secured the win for Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) with a goal in the second period.

Jackson Nauss was all over the ice for Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM), as he grabbed two goals in the win. Nauss' tallies came at 13:45 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 10:02 into the third to make the score 4-2 Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM).

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM)'s penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) finished with 16 penalty minutes.

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) also got points from Bagwell, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Mason Vukonich, who also registered one goal and three assists to lead the team in points.
