Andonovski's big game bests Springfield Cathedral in 6-2 St. Andrews College winLaBrier Family Arena Sat, Jan 23, 2016 Behind a great game by Corey Andonovski, who had one goal and two assists, the St. Andrews College Saints defeated Springfield Cathedral, 6-2. Andonovski beat Zac Roncarati with a shot 19:59 into the second period on the power play to make the score 3-2 St. Andrews College. St. Andrews College had gotten the advantage when Springfield Cathedral's Riley Prattson was sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct. Connor Ali assisted on the tally. Andonovski dished an assist on Kody Clark's goal that made the score 2-2 at 13:11 into the second period. He added another helper on Noah Lugli's goal that made the score 4-2 St. Andrews College at 9:09 into the third period.The Saints stifled Springfield Cathedral's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. St. Andrews College kept Springfield Cathedral's goalie busy throughout the game, and Roncarati made 32 saves on 38 shots. St. Andrews College also had goals scored by Morgan Barron and Felix Cote, who scored one goal each. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Jacob Miller, who had two and Lucas Thorne, William Sirman, Ryan OConnell, and Regan Kimens, who contributed one each. Springfield Cathedral was helped by Brendan Nehmer, who finished with one goal. Nehmer scored 5:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Springfield Cathedral. More assists for Springfield Cathedral came via Cam Peritz and Danny Petrick, who each chipped in one. Cole Chapman rejected 15 shots on goal for the Saints. St. Andrews College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Springfield Cathedral incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
