Michigan University of wins tough contest against W2 Northern Michigan University, 5-3

The game between the Michigan University of Wolverines and W2 Northern Michigan University was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Michigan University of emerged with a 5-3 win.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Jennifer Cusmano's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Cusmano and Emily Hotaling provided the spark for the Wolverines, combining for three goals and three assists. Cusmano had one goal and two assists and Hotaling also notched two goals and one assist.
