Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) gutted out a close 4-2 win against Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM).

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Julian Timba's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) was paced by Timba, who finished with one goal. Timba scored on the power play 5:29 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM). Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) had taken the advantage when Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM)'s Brett Dillon got sent off for slashing.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) also had goals scored by Paul Selleck, Jack Sitzman, and Nicholas Schultze, who scored one goal each. In addition, Anaheim Jr. Ducks (MM) received assists from Andre Ghantous, Declan Curtis, Kyle Mayhew, and Rob ivy, who contributed one each.
