Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) holds on for 4-3 win against Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm)

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) held on for a 4-3 victory.

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) took a 4-2 lead during the third period, only to have Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) storm back on a Trevor Bednarek goal 11:24 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 14 penalty minutes for five opposing power plays.

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) was led by David Klauke, who had two goals. Klauke scored the first of his two goals at 5:53 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm). Matt Weber picked up the assist. Klauke's next tally made the score 3-1 Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) with 6:36 left in the second period. Weber assisted on the tally. Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) also had goals scored by Cole Edgerton and Matt Krieger, who scored one goal each. Christopher Blachowski also scored for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm). More assists for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) came via Kevin Wall, who had two and Harrison Craffey, Ryan Sidorski, Zachary Rehbaum, and Maison Fadale, who each chipped in one.

Simon rejected 30 shots on goal for Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm). Justin Stotz made 14 saves for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (mm) on 18 shots.
