Martin's big game bests W2 Lake Superior State University in 12-0 Davenport University win

Megan Martin was all over the ice for the Davenport University Panthers, as he tallied one goal and four assists in Davenport University's 12-0 win over W2 Lake Superior State University.

Martin got on the board by slotting home a goal 5:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Davenport University. Laken Kunz provided the assist. Martin dished an assist on Kunz's goal that made the score 2-0 Davenport University at 10:13 into the first period. He then added assists on Lexie Boydston's goal at 2:53 into the second, on Kunz's goal at 5:30 into the second, and on Boydston's goal at 18:41 into the third.

The Panthers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three W2 Lake Superior State University power plays. Davenport University's offense rang up 65 shots on W2 Lake Superior State University's net. The Panthers outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, Davenport University averages 2.4 goals per contest.

Davenport University also got points from Boydston, who also racked up three goals and two assists, Kunz, who also registered three goals and two assists to lead the team in points, and Catie Dunne, who also finished with one goal and three assists. Adrienne Porcalla also scored for Davenport University. More assists for Davenport University came via Patsy Howe, Jennifer Deane, and Katie Dubro, who each chipped in two.
