Cam McConnell netted a hat trick to lead the Dundas Blues over the Simcoe Storm, 6-1. McConnell notched his first tally 7:01 into the second period. He then added goals at 12:32 into the third and at 19:34 into the third.Dundas managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Blues finished below its season average of 22.0 penalty minutes per game. Dundas kept Simcoe's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nathen McKinnon made 33 saves on 39 shots. Dundas also got points from Cam Docherty, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Dan Pelosini, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Justin Homer, who also registered one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Dundas were Jamison Buck, Mitch Moriarity, Thomas Dowling, and Calean McPhee APM, who each chipped in one and Connor King and Domenic Procopio, who contributed two each. The Blues' Andrew Albano stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Dundas registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. The Storm incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
