Michigan State University wins tough contest against W2 Northern Michigan University, 3-2

The game between the Michigan State University Spartans and W2 Northern Michigan University was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Michigan State University emerged with a 3-2 win.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Ashley Astor's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.
