The OHA U18 Midget AAA OHA U17's Justin Cheng scored 19 seconds into overtime to beat the CIHA Green Midget AAA Green, 3-2 (OT).

OHA U18 Midget AAA was sparked by Cheng, who grabbed one goal and one assist.

The OHA U17 stifled CIHA Green Midget AAA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

OHA U18 Midget AAA also got points from Kyle Foreman, who also had one goal and one assist. Craig Garrigan also scored for OHA U18 Midget AAA. In addition, OHA U18 Midget AAA received assists from Julien Allard, Brad Jenion, and Heath Ford, who contributed one each.

The Green put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow OHA U18 Midget AAA to score on any of its three power plays.

CIHA Green Midget AAA was helped by Matthew Grouchy, who registered one goal. Grouchy scored 4:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CIHA Green Midget AAA. Jacob Roberts picked up the assist. CIHA Green Midget AAA also got a goal from Gregory Rogers as well. More assists for CIHA Green Midget AAA came via Trevor Finch and James Hounsome, who each chipped in one.

Francis Asselin recorded 20 saves for the OHA U17. OHA U18 Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Zachary Kott made 22 saves for the Green on 25 shots. CIHA Green Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
