HC Dallas 16U uses big games from Smith and Speights to down Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 16U, 7-4

Behind two goals and one assist from Avery Smith and one goal and two assists from Brandon Speights, HC Dallas 16U downed Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 16U 7-4.

Smith scored the first of his two goals at 1:09 into the second period to make the score 3-2 HC Dallas 16U. Ben Fugger picked up the assist. Smith's next tally made the score 4-2 HC Dallas 16U with 12:06 left in the second period. Fugger provided the assist. Speights scored on the power play 9:15 into the second period to make the score 5-2 HC Dallas 16U. A slashing penalty on Shane Murphy had put HC Dallas 16U on the power play.
