Meijer AAA 16U and Arizona Bobcats 16U were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Meijer AAA 16U made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Max Hendrickson's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Hendrickson was all over the ice for Meijer AAA 16U, as he racked up two goals in the win.

Meijer AAA 16U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Arizona Bobcats 16U to score on any of its four power plays. Meijer AAA 16U forced Arizona Bobcats 16U goalie Cameron Sniffin to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

Meijer AAA 16U also had goals scored by Sam Millman and Matt Stokes, who each put in one. More assists for Meijer AAA 16U came via Caleb Nieporte, Camden Odegard, and Brandon Kucera, who each chipped in one.

Arizona Bobcats 16U was helped by Kohl Hedquist, who had one goal. Hedquist scored 4:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Arizona Bobcats 16U. Kaid Oliver picked up the assist. Jonas Edwards also scored for Arizona Bobcats 16U.

CJ Hapward made 24 saves for Meijer AAA 16U on 26 shots. Meijer AAA 16U incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Sniffin recorded 33 saves for Arizona Bobcats 16U. Arizona Bobcats 16U incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
