Nichols School beats St. Michaels College 10-0 as Donhauser gets hat trickSt. Michaels Rink Sat, Nov 21, 2015 Cole Donhauser netted a hat trick to lead the Nichols School Vikings over the St. Michaels College Majors, 10-0. Donhauser notched his first tally 48 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 2:17 into the third and at 5:22 into the third.Nichols School pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes. The Vikings forced St. Michaels College's goalies to work in net, totaling 64 shots and forcing 54 saves. Dylan Alikhan made 42 stops and Mark Morrison made 12. Nichols School excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. The Vikings outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, Nichols School averages 3.2 goals per contest. The Vikings' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Nichols School additionally got points from Brett Willits, who also registered one goal and one assist and Erik Urbank, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Nichols School also had goals scored by Steve Senese, who had two and Brandon Hausler, Adam Hawkins, and Tom Elia, who each put in one. In addition, Nichols School received assists from Alec Yerkovich, who had three and Cody Fleckenstein, Anthony Scanzuso, Matt Gasuik, Jack Millar, and Connor Zak, who contributed one each. The Majors could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 44 minutes in penalties during the game. Josh Graziano recorded 22 saves for Nichols School. The Vikings registered five goals on 17 power play opportunities. For St. Michaels College, Patrick Yau was ejected from the game.
