The Upper Canada College Blues and the Ridley College Tigers skate to 4-4 tie

Upper Canada College found itself down againt Ridley College, but battled back to secure to a 4-4 tie.

The Blues were helped by Brandon Grant, who finished with one goal. Grant scored 5:39 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Upper Canada College. Jonathan Thompson assisted on the tally. Upper Canada College also got points from Jacob Golden, who also registered one goal and one assist. Upper Canada College also had goals scored by Michael Wood and Michael Murphy, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Upper Canada College were Reid Humphrey, who had two and Saverio Imbrogno and Sean Medeiros, who contributed one each.

The Tigers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Upper Canada College to score on any of its four power plays. The Blues were unable to stop Ridley College from sending pucks towards the net, and the Tigers eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Ridley College was led by Riley McCourt, who racked up one goal and one assist. McCourt scored 17:24 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Ridley College. Connor Hill picked up the assist. Ridley College additionally got points from Brandon Skubel, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Ridley College included Ryan Mahshie and Cameron Beaudry, who each put in one. More assists for Ridley College came via Cole Cameron, Zack McGrath, and Will Lochead, who each chipped in one.

Colby Muise rejected 31 shots on goal for Upper Canada College. The Blues incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Chris McGonigle recorded 23 saves for the Tigers. Ridley College incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
