Nicolas Solari stood on his head and made 32 saves to lead the Appleby College Blue Dogs to a 2-1 victory over the Ridley College Tigers.

Appleby College's penalty kill excelled, as the Blue Dogs gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Appleby College was led by Tommy Hoogaars, who registered one goal and one assist. Hoogaars scored 4:03 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Appleby College. Adam Scholz picked up the assist.

The Tigers surpassed its season average of 20.0 penalty minutes per game. Ridley College excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in 11 chances. The Tigers were held below their usual level of production. Ridley College averages 3.9 goals per game. Appleby College was unable to stop the Tigers from sending pucks towards the net, and Ridley College eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.
