The Ridley College Tigers and the St. Michaels College Majors skate to 4-4 tieJ.S. Gairdner Arena Fri, Feb 05, 2016 St. Michaels College rebounded from a two-goal deficit to tie Ridley College, 4-4. The Majors were unable to stop the Tigers from sending pucks towards the net, and Ridley College eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. The Tigers found themselves short handed often, totaling 30 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays. Ridley College was helped by Matvey Skripchenko, who tallied two goals. Skripchenko scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 15:25 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Ridley College. The Tigers earned a power play opportunity when Cam Biniaris was put in the box for head contact. Connor Hill provided the assist. Skripchenko's next tally on the power play made the score 4-4 with 15:15 left in the third period. Adam Pys assisted on the tally. Ridley College also got points from Hill, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ryan Mahshie also scored for Ridley College.
