Upper Canada College boosted by Muise's play in net, beats Nichols School 2-1Wilder Arena Complex Fri, Jan 22, 2016 A stellar performance between the pipes by Colby Muise helped the Upper Canada College Blues defeat the Nichols School Vikings, 2-1. Upper Canada College was paced by Samuel Morin, who registered one goal. Morin scored 17:14 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Upper Canada College. Sean Medeiros provided the assist. Upper Canada College additionally got points from Medeiros, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Upper Canada College received assists from Jacob Golden, who had one. Nichols School managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Vikings ended up below its season average of 11.0 penalty minutes per game. Nichols School did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Vikings put an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game. The Blues were unable to stop Nichols School from sending pucks towards the net, and the Vikings eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. Nichols School was led by Brett Willits, who scored the team's only goal. Willits scored 8:47 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Charlie Carlson picked up the assist. Muise rejected 33 shots on goal for Upper Canada College. The Blues incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities. Josh Graziano made 23 saves for the Vikings on 25 shots. Nichols School registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
