Fleckenstein nets hat trick, leads Nichols School to 4-1 win over Upper Canada College

Cody Fleckenstein netted a hat trick to lead the Nichols School Vikings over the Upper Canada College Blues, 4-1.

Fleckenstein got on the scoresheet 5:40 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:25 into the first and at 17:18 into the second.

Nichols School excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Vikings' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in four goals.

Nichols School also got a goal from Anthony Scanzuso as well. In addition, Nichols School received assists from Brandon Hausler, Chris Morrison, Matt Gasuik, Tom Elia, Brett Willits, Cole Donhauser, Alec Yerkovich, and Steve Senese, who each chipped in one.

Upper Canada College was led by Ryder Thususka, who scored the team's only goal. Thususka scored 1:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Upper Canada College. Samuel Morin picked up the assist.

Nichols School's Josh Graziano stopped 15 shots out of the 16 that he faced. The Vikings incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Luca Imbrogno made 15 saves for the Blues on 19 shots. Upper Canada College incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
