St. Andrews College blows out Appleby College, 5-0

The St. Andrews College Saints had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-0 win over the Appleby College Blue Dogs.

St. Andrews College was sparked by Corey Andonovski, who had one goal. Andonovski scored short handed 19:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Andrews College. The Saints found themselves down a man on Morgan Barron's interference. William Sirman picked up the assist.

St. Andrews College stifled Appleby College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Saints kept the Blue Dogs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Nicolas Solari made 39 saves on 44 shots.

St. Andrews College additionally got points from Alex MacDonald, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for St. Andrews College included Lucas Thorne, Mitchell Martan, and Mack Falconer, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for St. Andrews College were Regan Kimens, who had two and Reid Yochim, Jacob Miller, and Ryan OConnell, who each chipped in one.

Cole Chapman rejected 22 shots on goal for St. Andrews College. The Saints incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Appleby College incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
