W2 College of St. Scholastica tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but W2 University of Alaska held on for a 4-2 victory.

A goal by Janelle Pascoe put W2 University of Alaska up 4-0 in the third period, but W2 College of St. Scholastica pulled to within two on Melina Avinon's tally 19:26 into the third period.

Cayla Wiita was all over the ice for W2 University of Alaska, as he had two goals in the win. Wiita scored at 11:36 into the second period to make the score 1-0 W2 University of Alaska and again while 19:31 into the second to make the score 3-0 W2 University of Alaska.
