Behind a great game by Todd Bates, who had two goals and one assist, M2 Wisconsin University of defeated M2 Non-ACHA Team, 3-1.

Bates' tallies came at 6:00 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and 14:24 into the second to make the score 2-1 M2 Wisconsin University of.

M2 Wisconsin University of was led by goalie Michael Kessler, who finished with 29 saves while allowing one goal. Kessler managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.68 prior to the game.
