Davenport University rolls over W2 Aquinas College, 5-1

The Davenport University Panthers had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over W2 Aquinas College.

Lexie Boydston had a great game for Davenport University, netting two goals. Boydston scored at 9:11 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Davenport University and again while 19:57 into the second to make the score 4-1 Davenport University.

W2 Aquinas College's power play was ineffective against the Panthers' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

W2 Aquinas College was unable to stop Davenport University from sending pucks towards the net, and the Panthers eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Davenport University found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Panthers have scored at the pace of 2.4 goals per game during the current campaign. W2 Aquinas College was led by Katelyn Graczyk, who scored the team's only goal. Graczyk scored on the power play 12:04 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Davenport University.
