Iowa Wild (MM) uses shootout to best Dallas Stars Elite (MM), 2-1 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Iowa Wild (MM) defeated Dallas Stars Elite (MM) in a shootout 2-1 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams. Dallas Stars Elite (MM)'s shootout goal was scored by Daniel Avdioukhin. Iowa Wild (MM) also got a shootout goal from Erkka Vanska.

Iowa Wild (MM) was led by goalie Lucas Van Dyke, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Van Dyke managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 4.7 prior to the game.
