W2 Wisconsin-La Crosse University o tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but W2 University of Wisconsin Stout held on for a 4-2 victory.

A goal by Abigail Sanford put W2 University of Wisconsin Stout up 4-1 in the third period, but W2 Wisconsin-La Crosse University o pulled to within two on Blair Lebeck's tally 9:18 into the third period.

Sanford had two goals and one assist to lead W2 University of Wisconsin Stout. Sanford scored the first of his two goals at 16:03 into the second period to make the score 3-1 W2 University of Wisconsin Stout. Marissa Odell picked up the assist.
