Kane nets hat trick, leads M3-Creighton University to 8-1 win over M3-Dordt College

Brendan Kane netted a hat trick to lead M3-Creighton University over M3-Dordt College, 8-1.

Kane's first goal came 4:43 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:06 into the first and at 4:41 into the second.

M3-Creighton University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five M3-Dordt College power plays.

M3-Creighton University also got points from Tony Tuccy, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Pat Cullen, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Chris Inserra, who also had one goal and one assist. M3-Creighton University also got a goal from Connor Jurgensen as well. Other players who recorded assists for M3-Creighton University were William Mork, Thomas Flick, Owen Kane, Daniel Odlaug, Ryan Coughlin, Niko Tsiouvaras, and Charlie Manion, who each chipped in one.

M3-Dordt College put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M3-Creighton University to score on any of its three power plays.

M3-Creighton University incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. M3-Dordt College incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
