M3-Creighton University takes care of M3-Dordt College early, wins 10-2

A five-goal first period deficit cost M3-Dordt College, which could not recover and fell to M3-Creighton University, 10-2.

Owen Kane was all over the ice for M3-Creighton University, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Kane scored the first of his two goals at 1:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Creighton University. Thomas Luedke picked up the assist. Kane's next tally made the score 7-1 M3-Creighton University with 42 seconds left in the second period. Connor Jurgensen provided the assist.

M3-Creighton University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 17 penalty minutes.

M3-Creighton University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances.

M3-Creighton University additionally got points from Pat Cullen, who also grabbed three goals and one assist to lead the team in points, Benjamin Czarnecki, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Jim McDonald, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Brendan Kane, who also registered one goal and one assist. M3-Creighton University also had goals scored by Blake Vinje and Athanasios Berbos, who each put in one. In addition, M3-Creighton University received assists from Charlie Manion, who had two and Joey Winter and Niko Tsiouvaras, who contributed one each.

M3-Dordt College was led by Aaron Ladzinski, who racked up two goals. Ladzinski scored the first of his two goals at 3:03 into the second period to make the score 5-1 M3-Creighton University. Caleb Groot picked up the assist. Ladzinski's next tally made the score 9-2 M3-Creighton University with 15:38 left in the third period. Lucas Koomans assisted on the tally.
