W2 Michigan State University tried its best to erase a four-goal deficit, but W2 Aquinas College would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4.

A goal by Marlowe Pentecost put W2 Aquinas College up 4-0 in the second period, but W2 Michigan State University pulled to within one on Sherine Diffendal's tally 18:08 into the third period.

W2 Aquinas College got the win thanks to a great game by Maria Manko, who had one goal and three assists. Manko scored 6:04 into the first period to make the score 2-0 W2 Aquinas College. Brooke Forgar assisted on the tally.
