Massachusetts University of holds on for 6-4 win against Penn State University

The Massachusetts University of Minutemen survived a determined comeback attempt by the Penn State University Nitty Lions on the way to a 6-4 win.

Massachusetts University of made the score 6-3 on a goal by Kelly Dolan at 14:07 in the third period, and Penn State University got as close as 6-4 when Darby Kern scored 15:59 into the third period.

The Minutemen forced the Nitty Lions goalie Allyssa Long to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

Massachusetts University of was led by Ally Perdios, who grabbed three goals. Massachusetts University of additionally got points from Brittani Lanzilli, who also had one goal and one assist and Meghan Lawler, who also registered one goal and one assist.
