M2 George Washington University completes comeback, beats M3-George Mason University, 10-7

Undaunted by a four-goal deficit, the M2 George Washington University Colonials battled back to claim a 10-7 victory over M3-George Mason University.

M2 George Washington University never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Colonials fell behind 6-2 after a power play goal by M3-George Mason University's Seve Cordova at 8:05 in the second period. M2 George Washington University knotted things up at 6-6 on a goal by Christopher Perugini at 3:27 in the third period. The Colonials scored the game winner at 12:57 in the third period on a goal by Perugini.

M2 George Washington University got the win thanks to a great game by Jake Lessick, who had one goal and four assists.

The Colonials' offense rang up 40 shots on M3-George Mason University's net. M2 George Washington University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. The Colonials struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as they finished the game with 20 penalty minutes for nine opposing power plays.
