Michigan State University completes comeback, beats Vermont University of, 4-3

The Michigan State University Spartans rallied from two goals down to secure a 4-3 win over the Vermont University of Catamounts.

Michigan State University never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Spartans trailed 3-1 after a goal by Vermont University of's Kaly Gonski at 3:01 in the third period. Michigan State University knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Kelsey Cross at 13:21 in the third period. The Spartans netted the game winner short handed at 19:53 in the third period on a goal by Cross.

Michigan State University was paced on offense by Cross and Lyndsay Oden, who combined for five points. Cross grabbed two goals and one assist and Oden also notched one goal and one assist.
