Colorado State University uses fast start to beat Denver University of, 9-0

The Colorado State University Rams opened up a four-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to a 9-0 win over Denver University of.

Alicia Ziff was all over the ice for Colorado State University, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Ziff scored the first of his two goals at 1:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Colorado State University. Sarah Peterson assisted on the tally. Ziff's next tally made the score 8-0 Colorado State University with 4:48 left in the second period. Avery Kauffmann picked up the assist.

The Rams forced Denver University of goalie Sydney Firmin to work between the pipes, taking 77 shots.

Colorado State University also got points from Alexandrya Reda, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Kauffmann, who also had one goal and one assist.
